I started this Life Coaching business because through my own journey I have learned invaluable lessons that I felt compelled to pay forward and help others rise up into a life they love and are proud of.  Rise is a safe space for others to get clear on what holds them back from rising into their fullest potential.  My Rise journey has been happening in stages throughout my life and it’s because of that, I am so passionate about helping others rise up, as well.  

I grew up in a home where alcohol/addiction and mental illness was prevalent.  I struggled with worthiness, abandonment, and insecurity, which led me to marry young and go from one toxic environment to another. After a short time, I knew it was time to walk away and break the cycle so my daughter and I could rise into a better life.

As a single mom, it was my mission to show my daughter, Jordyn, that despite any circumstance , we can step into our power and rise into a beautiful and fulfilling life. And so the Rise journey continued. I received my cosmetology license at the age of 30, built a steady clientele in a year’s time, and got remarried to a wonderful man and father. I then opened my own salon and a health and wellness business, all while raising an incredible human being in the process. Now, as a certified Transformational Life Coach, I want to empower YOU and help you find your strength and resilience, just like I did mine.

Although I have experienced consuming darkness, I have also felt a light so bright that gratitude was all I could feel from the moments I thought would break me.  I’ve learned that we aren’t stuck in any situation, that leaning into the hard, uncomfortable, and unfortunate times gives us an undeniable strength to rise up.  There is freedom in finding balance between persistence and letting go.  All destruction eventually leads to construction if you’re consistent and focused in your pursuit to RISE.
